LRE RAPTORS
The LRE Raptors are an AAU basketball program that have worked with kids ranging from 9th grade through 12th grade. Under the leadership of David Gagnon, the Raptors specialize in a variety of individual skill development in an extremely fun, competative, team oriented atmosphere. The Raptors take pride in utilizing basketball as an initial connection to student athletes to help them learn what individual and team success is, help to set and accomplish their goals, and grow into successful adults through lessons learned while being part of our program. With this mission, we create a very high level, competitive brand of basketball that players and parents will love to be apart of and will remember for years.

More About the Raptors Program:
The Raptors do a plethora of things with their athletes far beyond the AAU season. What we offer for our athletes after the spring season ends are things like, group and individual skill workouts to further develop the players. We offer organized pick up basketball sessions for every player in the program where it is organized by the coaches, the coaches attend and coach the kids in a live setting of basketball. As a program director I attend winter games all over the state to support our players offering advice and further developing the relationship between the player and the coach/program. Through years of networking and connecting with coaches at the public high school, prep school, and college level we offer open lines of communication with those resources for our athletes. As a program we have run multiple youth clinics for local towns to raise excitement and get out in a fun environment. Using these clinics we have been able to produce interest in our program and help teach the game of basketball to a younger demographic while doing so our Raptors program has a ton of fun and becomes closer as a group. Through all of these opportunities, we feel as though we have a competitive advantage and a closeness with our athletes. We take enormous pride in putting the Raptor’s personal touch on each and every player that signs up and joins our program. When families and athletes sign up to be a Lakes Region Raptor, they are receiving far more than a spring AAU basketball season, in fact their are signing up for a connection and care from us for a lifetime. |
